01Try it before you pay
The free plan is not a trial with a clock on it. It is 3,000 emails that never expire, it needs no card, and it includes every guardrail and all ten MCP tools — the same product a paying customer gets, in a smaller quantity.
That is deliberate, and it is why the terms below are specific rather than open-ended. You can verify a domain, send real mail, wire up webhooks and read the logs without paying us anything, so a paid plan should never be the first time you find out whether SadaSend works for you.
0214 days, no questions
If you are not satisfied with a paid plan, ask within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to explain why, and we will not ask you to sit through a call about it.
This applies once per account, to the first payment on any plan, and covers the plan fee itself.
03Cancelling a monthly plan
Cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep the plan until then rather than losing it the moment you click, and you are not charged again.
We do not refund part of a month you have already used, outside the 14-day period above. If something went wrong on our side during it, that is the section below and not this one.
04Cancelling an annual plan
Within the first 14 days, a full refund as above.
After that, cancel and we refund the unused whole months remaining in the term, less any discount already taken. Yearly billing is 15% or 20% cheaper than paying monthly, so the refund is calculated against what you actually paid rather than against the higher monthly rate — otherwise a customer could take the annual discount and leave having paid less than a monthly customer for the same months.
05When we refund without being asked
In each of these you do not need to argue the case. Tell us what you saw and we will look at the same records you can — every send, every delivery attempt and every event is in your dashboard, which is the point of keeping them.
- You were charged twice for the same period, or charged after cancelling.
- Overage was billed because of a fault on our side — a miscounted send, a retry we caused, or a message we accepted and then failed to deliver for a reason that was ours.
- A sustained outage that stopped you sending. If we could not run the service you paid for, we do not keep the money for that period.
06What is not refundable
- Overage you genuinely sent. It is billed per thousand emails above your plan and metered from your own message log, which you can export at any time.
- A plan you used normally for a period and then decided against, outside the 14-day window.
- Accounts suspended for abuse — sending spam or phishing, or sending from a domain you do not control. The acceptable-use section of our terms sets out what that means.
07How to ask
Write to us using the channel listed on our Contact page, or open a support ticket from your dashboard once you have an account. Tell us which account it is and roughly when the charge was.
We reply to refund requests within two business days. Once approved, the refund is issued to the original payment method and typically appears within 5 to 10 business days — that last part is your bank rather than us.
08Who takes the payment
Payments are processed by our payment provider, which acts as the merchant of record for SadaSend. They handle the transaction, the sales tax or VAT, and the refund itself, which means their name rather than SadaSend may be what appears on your card statement or invoice.
Ask us for the refund either way. We handle it from there and you do not need to contact them yourself.
09Changes to this policy
If we change these terms, the change applies to payments made after it takes effect and never retroactively to one you have already made. The date at the top of this page says when it last moved.
